What did I do?
As an action shot, I had no time to compose the image in advance, so much was done in post (editing). First I cropped the image to give the feeling that the subject was flying through the sky. I darkened the silhouette and lightened the sky so that there was more contrast between subject and background. There were a number of undesired elements that snuck into the frame (namely the pole on the left side of the original picture, and the green flare on the subject’s jacket), so I removed them using the clone stamp.
